Abounding Love Ministries

Abounding Love Ministries, Inc. of Bishop, California was established in 1999. The purpose of Abounding Love Ministries is to help children and families in crisis and is part of a collaborative effort between public/private agencies and local churches.

Currently, Abounding Love Ministries, Inc. of Bishop, California is operating a Foster Family Home for children between the ages of birth and 18. We hope to enlarge our services to include a Foster Family Agency, an Emergency Placement Home, a Crisis Pregnancy Center (to provide Christian options other than abortion), a respite service called TOPs (Time Out for Parents) for families who can't afford to pay for childcare while they get needed time for themselves, and a Teen Pregnancy/Teen Mom home.

Abounding Love Ministries, Inc. of Bishop, California has been asked by Inyo County to make a proposal for a Youth Transitional Housing Placement Program for 18 year old foster children who will find themselves homeless and have hired Debbie Breazeale as a part time Parent Partner/Family Liaison to give support to families who may not know what resources are available to them

We are also serve on the Advisory Board and administrate the day to day operations of The Salvation Army Cup of Cold Water Food Bank and Clothes Closet, a free food and clothing distribution service for the community.
